About David

With a collaborative and commercial approach, David is a lawyer who advises on Intellectual Property, general commercial and contracting matters, and contracting with government departments including the Australian Department of Defence.  

David’s career has included working in house in large multinational defence suppliers, consultancies and with small to medium legal firms in both commercial management and general legal roles.  

In 2020, David established IP Infocus, an innovative NewLaw firm with a vision that includes using his experience in managing, advising on and negotiating large commercial contracts to assist clients of all sizes and in all areas of business. David’s vision is to use his experience to help clients in a collaborative manner and act as a trusted advisor in areas they may be inexperienced in or have no knowledge of.

David enjoys photography, reading and exercise with the dog, as well as socialising with friends.
