Mark is the founder and principal of Guardian Legal Australia, a Sydney CBD-based commercial and employment law firm.

Our firm is client and outcome-focussed and we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible result.

We assist individuals, business startups, small to medium enterprise and companies across Australia.Mark is an experienced court and trial advocate. In addition to holding a Master of Laws (Sydney University), Mark is an accredited mediator and dispute resolution practitioner.

He has also completed the Bar Association Readers’ Program and practised as a Barrister in civil, employment, professional conduct and criminal law, amongst other fields.

Mark is licensed to practise in all courts and tribunals Australia-wide, including Local/Magistrates, Supreme, Federal and High Courts of Australia.Qualifications: BA/LLB, GDLP and LLM (Sydney Uni). Accredited barrister, mediator and dispute resolution practitioner.

Outside of being a lawyer

Outside of legal practice, Mark has a strong commitment to pro bono work, refugee protections and human rights.

He has worked for the UN and other agencies in war crimes, rule of law and international development in Europe, Asia, and the Pacific and was awarded the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal in 2009.

He is also an active member of Australian Lawyers for Human Rights and a Board Member of the NSW Red Cross.In addition, Mark is a surfer lifesaver with Coogee SLSC (NSW) and a part-time firefighter with Fire and Rescue NSW.
